You can really call upon your system's ram in a way that doesn't put the load all on one app. That meant physically routing audio out and back into machine.įor all the folks using ve pro, and reaper essentially as a soft synth/VI host, this (standalone) is a real nice option. It wasn't that long ago that I was going round and round trying to figure a way to get audio from my stand alone instruments into pt, without having to use a second interface. Many of you might be like yeah, no sherlock, but for me was a very pleasant surprise to get this working. For anyone who is interested, I was able to route audio into pt with sound flower today using the pt aggregate I/O.
